Types of Office 365 Password Reports to Run
Once you’ve logged in, you will be able to start running reports against your Azure AD tenant from our Office 365 reports menu. Select any Office 365 password report and customise the report by selecting ‘Manage Columns‘ and select the attributes/columns you would like your report to show based on your user password settings. On some of the password reports, you can select the previous number of days to filter your reports on. Use the filter to search your reports based on data you would like to search for.
Some of the pre defined Office 365 password reports you can run are as follows:
Never expiring passwords
Recently password changed by users
Users who haven't changed their passwords in x days
Check details on users who haven’t changed their Office 365 password. Use the filter to set the number of days (e.g 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days, 10 days, 14 days, 30 days, etc) to filter the exact date a user hasn’t changed their password. Create your own custom report based on user attributes using manage columns.
Audit user password changes
Search your Azure AD audit logs for password changes within the last 30 days. Create reports and filter reports based on:
- Password change Activity
- When password was changed
- Actor IP Address of who changed the password
- Initiated by Actor
- Result Status
- Result Failure Reason
- Initiated by App
- Initiated by Service
- User Display Name
- UPN
- Last Password Change
- User Type
- User ID
Audit password resets and by who
Search your Azure AD audit logs for password resets within the last 30 days. Create reports and filter reports based on:
